Mehdi Foundation International (MFI) staged a peace Rally in support of British Prime Minister Tony Blair in front of 10 Downing Street, London, on August 24, 2005, at 11.00 AM.

We are thankful to the Prime Minister for banning terrorist organizations Al-Muhajirun and Hizb-e-Tehreer MFI vehemently denounces the terrorist attacks by Islamists. The wave of terrorism is due to a great mischief in Islam. The Islamists all over the world are united under the banner of International organization named Al-Qaeda. Under the leadership of one-eyed-butcher Taliban Mullah Omer, the rigid Islamists are plotting to carry out massacre, especially in the West.

MFI is an organization, consisting of all nationalities and religions. It is a multi-faith spiritual movement, practicing the Goharian philosophy of Divine Love and Peace. His Holiness Gohar Shahi is the Promised Imam Mehdi, attracting followers of all religions and faiths. His Holiness has identified Mullah Omar of Taliban as the infamous Anti-Christ.

Present terrorism is the mischief of Anti-Christ Mullah Omar, waging war against Christendom. “Christians are the enemies of the Islam”, so according to them, killing Christians is an omen service to Islam. This daily lesson is whipped into Muslim Youth. Now the question is whether the Western authorities are taking appropriate steps to curb this menace, as this is meticulously planned and well coordinated campaign to eliminate the Christianity from the face of the world?

The Islamists have rapidly become a serious threat to the global peace. The UK and the USA are wrongly accused of discrimination against Islam when measures are taken to crush terrorist forces. Measures taken by the West against terrorism are regarded as an attack on Islam.  Thus, the Muslims are brainwashed and blackmailed into acceptance of extremism.

The sectarian (Wahabi) Mullahs instituted blasphemy cases against the followers of other sects to settle personal scores. In response, General Pervez Musharraf announced in 2001, to amend Blasphemy Laws, as Sections 295 A, B, C (Blasphemy Laws) were abused.   But, General Musharraf backed off and proved incompetent in any amendments when fanatics held rallies to relentlessly pressure him. The profile of the followers of Wahabi Sect is: they grow long beards, and clean-shave mustache and wear shalwar (trouser) high above ankles. Strictly following rituals and hard-heartedness are their hallmark. 

After September 11, incident and recent London bombings, the Musharraf Government seemingly came up hard on Islamist hardliners in Pakistan, it has nevertheless failed to eliminate these sectarian elements. Most agencies of the government are involved in promoting extremism and terrorism. It has become impossible to rid Pakistan of fanaticism. Sectarian beliefs are above governmental laws for the majority of Pakistanis, thus failing to abide by the state-laws. Islamists are striving hard for Islamic revolution and for imposing Islamic Law in Pakistan. Recently, Hasba Bill was recommended for approval by the North West Frontier Province. It is  a Taliban-style Islamic Law. The Musharraf Government challenged its validity in the Supreme Court. Although the Supreme Court has given its verdict against it, yet the NWFP Government and Politicians are determined to defy the verdict.

The Provincial Government of NWFP is challenging the supremacy of federal Government. The majority of the Islamic militant organizations come from the province of NWFP. Most of these organizations have been recently banned by the Government of Pakistan. 

Also, Islam is a poor excuse for cross-border terrorism in Kashmir. Secret Agencies of Pakistan are fully active in ongoing cold war in Kashmir. The Intelligence Agency of Pakistan (ISI) is pro-Taliban.

MFI staged rallies in support of General Parvez Musharraf in all major cities in Pakistan including the capital, whereas the print and electronic media in Pakistan have disapproved of Musharraf’s stand against Islamists, accusing him of becoming an agent of the West.

MFI is persecuted for voicing against terrorism in Pakistan. The Local Police have instituted cases of ‘blasphemy against Islam’ on 250 MFI members for supporting General Parvez Musharraf. Although the President had banned a few terrorist organizations earlier last week, they still have viable influence on the Government policies. They instigated the cases of blasphemy against MFI.

MFI advises the UK Government to view the current wave of terrorism in the scenario of Anti-Christ against Christian world. A profound strategy is needed to root out the evil forces of Islamists. Bear in mind, waging war against Islamists is not a war against Islam. The majority of Islamists come from a particular sect in Islam, known as Wahabi. Their mosques, faith schools and cultural centres must be monitored in United Kingdom.The followers of Wahabi Sect must be placed under constant surveillance.

MFI wishes to extend all the needed help and assistance to the British Government. Although the majority of our members come from Pakistan, we are British. Britain is our Home now. We must protect our home from all enemies. We are loyal to Britain, not Pakistan. Pakistan is our past; Britain is our present and future home.
